Casey- We all here at Beckman who knew your father were surprised and saddened at the news of your Dads sudden passing. He was a character and coming from me that is a compliment! He will be missed by many.I wish I could attend the service but I will be unable to. We have a campers club outing this weekend and I am sure quite a few words will be said. I hope you and your family are doing well. What is it like living in Bumpass Va? :I cant imagine how a conversation would go after telling people where you live. I mean that with all the respect in the world! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief!

Thank you for all the kind words and memories you are sharing. He truly was a favorite person to many. In my instance it is not often that a father can also be considered a best friend- He was both. He will be missed but when I stop and look around he is everywhere that I can see.

Life is measured in time and events. And, Chuck impacted my life in both categories. He was my supervisor at Beckman – and I am very proud for his impact in my life. He filled my life with wisdom, patience, an outlook for service, and understanding of others. I have been blessed with his presence in my life. And, it was appreciated and valued! Plus, it was fun playing practical jokes on him… He will always have a very special niche in my heart – he earned it!

    To all,

Thank you for your kind words and condolences. Casey and I were fortunate to have a close relationship w/ our Dad. He was not only a father to us, but a friend. As adults we were able to make the leap from the childhood relationship to one of adults that actually like each other even thought they are related! We have been blessed greatly by his wisdom, patience, fairness and kindness through the years.

Our hearts are sore from missing him but know without a shadow of a doubt he is in a far better place…one w/o pain. Again, thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

    Dear Casey and Gaby,
we are really sorry about your Dad, Casey.
I have seen Gisas e-mail today in the internet. We moved and our PC didn’t work before.
We hope the very best to you. I’m glad that your father did not have to suffer very long. That is a gift.
Since the cancer-time of Oma I know this for sure.
But nevertheless it makes it not better. The sadness remains.
    Our sincere condolences
    Petra and Nazzareno
